An aluminum ls1,2,3,6 is about 125lbs, a ls7 weighs a bit more. A plastic ls intake is a little less than an aluminum old intake.

The Chevy LT1 heads will not work on the older non LT1 engine blocks, due to the LT1 having a reverse coolant flow. I have heard of people making them work by drilling passages on the front side of the cyl heads and using some sort of coolant tube set up, but I 39m not sure how or even if this is possible.

These motors couldn 39t weigh much, but the one I have makes around 120 or something at the rearwheels, I 39m guessing, but thats with singleexhaust and a 2bbl, but still, it isn 39t going to be a monster. Also, supposidly the aluminum engines were pretty easily destroyed whenever they ran hot, or atleast thats what I 39ve heard from people around here.
