Gas Block aluminum vs steel General AR15 ...
2009/02/12 0183 32Posted February 12, 2009. Steel for CAR and midlength gas systems. Aluminum does fine typically on rifle length gas ARs, no matter what on my own stuff I prefer steel always. Steel and stainless steel have similar expansion rates. Hey guys, Im shopping around for a piccany gas block, and cannot decide between aluminum or steel.
